Finding Mee-mo
Apparently, Finding Nemo (who she insists on calling Mee-mo) is too scary for my daughter. She asked to shut it off, and this is a girl who LIVES for movies. I wasn't watching it with her, and I only vaguely remember seeing it a few years ago, but according to Uncle Kyle, there are "lots of sharks and dark oceanic scenes. And the dentist is nasty." What a combination...

I could understand a possible horror factor to Finding Nemo. I mean the main characters are fish, so its slightly horrifying when you see the picture of Darla holding the dead fish in a bag.
ReplyDeletePlus when the vegetarian sharks try and eat Marlin and Dori there is a rush of panic for younger viewers. (gained that info. when watching it with my 5 year old cousin and he started jumping on the couch, screaming," No!!! Don't hide in there, keep swimming!")
